Junior Legal Counsel

As we scale, we are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our team.

Our legal team handles both internal and external legal projects.
We focus on corporate, contract, and labor law across multiple jurisdictions.
We value a business-oriented approach, rational risk analysis, and proactive legal support.

What you will be doing:

  • drafting and revising commercial contracts, NDAs, internal policies, and other legal documents;

  • providing legal support for the day-to-day activities and operations of the company;

  • conducting primary legal research and analysis on various legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations;

  • assisting in handling customer claims and addressing their legal concerns professionally;

  • working closely with software developers, analysts, marketing managers, and management teams to mitigate legal risks;

  • managing and accurately filing legal documents in internal databases;

  • monitoring and analyzing market trends, partner policies, and regulatory changes, effectively communicating updates to relevant teams;

  • supporting legal aspects of hiring processes, including employment contracts and compliance matters;

  • participating in the legal structuring of corporate entities and entity relocation projects;

  • contributing to external legal projects and collaborations with international partners.

Your background:

  • degree in legal education;

  • minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in the IT industry and exposure to international business;

  • high proficiency in spoken and written English;

  • solid understanding of contract law, corporate law, and labor law in Ukraine;

  • experience working with multiple jurisdictions (USA, UK, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Estonia) is an advantage;

  • strong research skills to stay updated on legal requirements and industry best practices;

  • meticulous attention to detail and ability to process large volumes of legal documents efficiently;

  • ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and provide business-oriented legal advice;

  • quick adaptability to changing priorities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

  • open to feedback, collaborative, and willing to consult with team members.
